The IZOVENT STANDARD ridge tape is designed for sloped roofs. Its main function is to provide natural ventilation of the roof space and protect it from weather elements. IZOVENT is made of high-density technical fabric with high strength parameters. The AL strips, with a minimum width of 75mm, are profiled and bonded to the fabric using hot-melt adhesive and stitched with threads. A butyl adhesive with a minimum width of 15mm is applied to the inner surface of the aluminum strips.

The tape is laid under the ridge tile on the ridge batten of the roof. It can also be used on a sloping ridge batten. It is fastened to the batten using nails or staples. The aluminum sides of the tape with butyl adhesive must be adhered to the roof tiles or metal sheets after they have been formed to the shape of the tile or sheet.

Thanks to the adhesive properties of the butyl, the ridge tape can be used with any type of roof tile.
